Bedford Music Cooperative
About Bedford Music Cooperative
Bedford Music Cooperative was formed in 2016, when the instrumental teachers from the Music Service were made redundant. They formed the cooperative to ensure continuation of provision for all the young instrumentalists in the Borough.
It is the home of instrumental teaching for the Borough, and works with other partners in the Bedford Music Hub to encourage strong links between all the various music activities on offer.
Having only been in existence for less than two years, the BMC has many ideals and goals, and is gradually working out its strategy for the future! It started with 27 teacher members and now has 38, so growth is evident and there is potential for plenty more.
