On the 8 July CYJO took to the stage of Hoddinott Hall for the end of year Music night, alongside Capital Youth Music and choirs from Olchfa School and Corpus Christi RC High School.
A packed audience enjoyed a fantastic night of music, from the opening bars of Also Sprach Zarathustra to a spell binding arrangement of Somewhere Over the Rainbow from Corpus Christi’s Rhapsody vocal Group.
CYJO entertained everyone with some great Jazz solos throughout the band on charts as varied as Myles Collin’s “Nous Blue” and Gareth Roberts’ original composition “The Skirrid”.
