About North East Music Co-operative
Nemco was formed as an independent company in 1995 as a workers co operative. Since then, they have been providing school based instrumental music lessons, musical ensembles and performance opportunities throughout the region.
Nemco aim to provide a quality music service at an affordable price and to engender an enthusiasm for music making through participation. They encourage pupils to achieve the highest possible standards. Many of their pupils have continued to make music both professionally and socially after leaving school.
